About H2O Software

H2O Software started business in 1996 with the release of the first version of the H2O Report Generator. It was developed by a water treatment chemist and certified water treatment plant operator, with more than 40 years' experience in both the municipal and consulting sectors of the industry. Our goal at the time was to provide a means for Public Water Supply Systems to store all their current and historical process and water quality data in a local database that could then be instantly accessed for evaluating process operations, generating process and regulatory reports, and engineering future treatment processes. The H2O Report Generator provided a single database for storing all the flow, level, chemical feed and water quality data that is generated by a Department. By doing so, it also helped Water Departments eliminate the large amount of hard to find data, hidden away in file cabinets and boxes and/or eliminate the aggravation of an endless array of spreadsheets that are difficult to keep linked together. With the H2O Cloud Reporter, we're taking it a step further. It is a completely cloud based, data management and reporting application. The data can now be rapidly accessed from anywhere and on almost any device where Wi-Fi or data service is available to produce a large array of detailed process and regulatory reports. The H2O Cloud Reporter is designed to allow for the collection and sharing of information between approved users. It has the capability to store all pump and flow, level, chemical feed and water quality data generated by a public water supplier. The H2O Cloud Reporter is making it easier than ever to manage settings, record data, and produce reports on desktops, tablets, and smartphones alike. Today, all public water suppliers must comply with an ever-growing list of regulations and standards arising from the actions of federal (Environmental Protection Agency) and state regulatory agencies. They must also contend with a more educated customer base that demand for their families an uninterrupted drinking water supply that exceeds all water quality standards. The water departments that must meet these demands are diverse. The complexity of their systems may vary from a single drinking water well and distribution system to a multi-source system that includes complex treatment facilities and distribution systems. Although diverse, the demands made by the public and regulatory agencies are similar. The H2O Cloud Reporter is designed to be configured by water suppliers of all sizes and complexities to meet these demands. H2O Software continues to maintain an in-depth understanding of water treatment processes and regulatory requirements, keeping current by industry training and professional involvement and uses this knowledge as a cornerstone for understanding and relating to the customer's needs. With this experience, the H2O Cloud Reporter was designed with the tools required for water suppliers of all sizes to configure their application accordingly. As we continue to build our presence on the web, our clients have recognized that a web-based management solution was the way of the future.
